Setting Email Di Thunderbird

Alhamdulillah Bung Hasta diberi kesempatan lagi untuk berbagi ilmu kepada pengunjung setia banana skin (hehehe . . . . .). Okeh, pada kesempatan kali ini Bung Hasta bagi bagi tips seputar email, yaitu setting email di Mozilla Thunderbird. Langsung saja eah gan, ini dia settingannya.


GMail:
  • Incoming Server setting (bisa pakai POP3 atau IMAP, di sini diberikan yang IMAP)
  • Server Name: imap.gmail.com (atau imap.googlemail.com)
  • Port: 993
  • User Name: yourname@gmail.com
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP) setting
  • Description: (anything)
  • Server Name: smtp.gmail.com (atau smtp.googlemail.com)
  • Port: 465
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • User Name: yourname@gmail.com

Yahoo! Mail (catatan: yang bisa diakses POP3 nya adalah yahoo.co.id. Untuk yahoo.com harus menggunakan versi yang berbayar untuk dapat mengakses email via POP3)
  • Incoming Server (POP Mail) Setting
  • Server Name: pop.mail.yahoo.co.id
  • Port: 995
  • User Name: yourname
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP) setting
  • Description: (anything)
  • Server Name: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.id
  • Port: 465
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • User Name: yourname

Windows Live Mail (Hotmail)
  • Incoming Server (POP Mail) Setting
  • Server Name: pop3.live.com
  • Port: 995
  • User Name: yourname@live.com
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP) setting
  • Description: (anything)
  • Server Name: smtp.live.com
  • Port: 587
  • Connection security: STARTTLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • User Name: yourname@live.com

Nokia Ovi Mail
  • Incoming Server (IMAP Mail) Setting
  • Server Name: imap.mail.ovi.com
  • Port: 993
  • User Name: yourname@ovi.com
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP) setting
  • Description: (anything)
  • Server Name: smtp.mail.ovi.com
  • Port: 465
  • Connection security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication method: Normal password
  • User Name: yourname@ovi.com
